Privacy Policy

FlowMind ("FlowMind", "we", "us") is a mobile app for building habits and routines, operated by Sharif Abdallah (Dar es Salaam, Tanzania). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email hello@useflowmind.app.

Information we collect

• Account details — your name and email address, used to create your account and to send sign-in codes.
• Sign-in identifiers — if you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and, where you permit it, your email and name. We never see your Apple or Google password.
• Your content — the habits, routines, completions, subtasks, and reminder settings you create in the app.
• Technical data — a push-notification token if you turn on reminders, and the minimal request data needed to operate and secure our API.

We do not collect advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking.

Apple Health & health data

If you choose to connect Apple Health, FlowMind reads only the metrics you allow — such as steps, active energy, exercise minutes, and walking distance — to automatically mark movement habits as done. This health data is read on your device and used locally to update your habit progress. We do not transmit it to our servers, sell it, share it, or use it for advertising. You can disconnect Apple Health at any time in the app or in your device settings.

How we use your information

• To provide the app and sync your habits across your devices.
• To send one-time sign-in codes (transactional email only — no newsletters or marketing).
• To send the daily reminders you opt into.
• To keep the service secure and working correctly.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers needed to run FlowMind, and only as needed:

• Apple & Google — sign-in and, where applicable, in-app purchases.
• Postmark — sending your one-time sign-in codes by email.
• RevenueCat — managing subscription status, if you subscribe.
• Our hosting provider — running the FlowMind API and database.

We never sell your personal data.

Payments

Any subscription is purchased and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details — those are handled by the app stores.

Data retention & your choices

• Export — you can export your data from within the app at any time.
• Delete — you can delete your account in the app; this removes your habits, routines, logs, and account data from our servers.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Sensitive secrets such as sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only as hashes, never in plain text.

Children

FlowMind is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected here.
